Pride of Britain winners receive VIP treatment

Pride of Britain

For the last three years, we have provided travel for the Pride of Britain, taking winners and their guests to and from the glamorous red carpet event.
For this years transport, on-board guests included young Jack Mackay who saved his brother from a dog attack as well as Betty McGlinchey, who has fostered more than 1,200 children. Thanks to The Kings Ferry (TKF), the Invictus Games team were able to join in last minute with the rest of the Pride of Britain winners at a reception with David Cameron at Downing Street the following day. Special recognition and thanks to Dave Mann, TKF’s Duty Operations Manager. He went above and beyond to organise the team’s transport which included a police escort to make sure the team got to Number Ten on time!
Our thanks also go out to TKF driver Marigeln Xako, who provided a comfortable and professional service.
The event transport was in addition to the week-long tour held earlier in the year. Thank you Travel DeCourcey and the marketing communications, social media and PR teams for all expertly working together to make this a success!
